2nd Line Support Engineer 

Manchester – £30,000

We are looking for a seasoned 2nd Line Support Engineer with a passion for providing excellent customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that specialises in tech solutions. 

You will be based onsite in the office near Manchester and be responsible for providing customer support via a service desk. You should have excellent experience of working to SLA’s and wanting to provide an excellent of service. You will help be the escalation point for all 1st Line queries and will assist the 3rd line teams with some projects. 

Key requirements: 

  • VMware or Hyper-V
  • Office365 (Exchange online / SharePoint / Teams)
  • Azure AD & MFA
  • Windows server (AD, DNS, DHCP & GPO)
  • Basic networking skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Desirable skills:

  • Understanding of backup technologies (Veeam ideally)
  • Firewall experience – either FortiGate, WatchGuard or Cisco ASA.
  • Microsoft qualifications.
  • Citrix or VMware Horizon
